The Ed Stephenson Group is a four piece instrumental band made up of piano/keyboard, bass, drums, and saxophone/clarinet. Ed Stephenson, leader of the group, writes most of the musical arrangements, giving the group its own unique style and sound. Their musical library spans decades and they play a variety of music including jazz, latin, old standards, dixieland, and ballroom dance music. The group has always been fortunate to have had the finest musicians in the Wiregrass Area, resulting in music that is always polished and well performed, and the appearance and demeanor of the group is always appropriate for the occasion.

When playing for a concert, the group plays to capture and hold the attention of their audience. When performing for social events such as parties, dances and wedding receptions, they  play for dining, dancing, or listening, and always respect the wishes of their clients.

If special music is needed, Ed will try to satisfy the needs of his clients. For example, with sufficient notice, he can usually prepare special theme music or arrange a particular song for the bride & groom dance at a wedding reception.
